Five years ago, we took a leap of faith and started a small tree service business in the White Mountains of Arizona. With backgrounds in forestry and marketing, a new baby on the way, and a blended family being pulled in two different directions, we made the decision to relocate so we could be closer to our older children. That move not only strengthened our family but also opened the door for us to pursue a long-time dream — becoming private business owners.
What began as a risk quickly became a thriving company. Our first business, White Mountains Tree Service, grew faster than we ever imagined. (You can follow more of that journey on our website and social media!) Over the years, our older children have headed to college and one went off to join the Marines (oorah!), while our younger kids have started their journey of primary school. Wanting to prioritize our faith, family, and the education of our littles, we felt called to make another significant move — this time to the beautiful Verde Valley.
That move inspired the creation of our sister company, Verde Tree Co, where we bring the same values, professionalism, and dedication to tree care that built our reputation in the White Mountains.
